SYNOPSIS

float significandf(float x);
long double significandl(long double x);
DESCRIPTION
If x equals sig * 2**n with 1<= sig < 2, then these functions return sig.
RETURN VALUES
Upon successful completion, these functions return sig.
If x is either 0, +-Inf or NaN, x is returned.
ERRORS
No errors are defined.
