SYNOPSIS
foomatic-getpjloptionsdevice foomatic-getpjloptionshostname port
DESCRIPTION
foomatic-getpjloptions Reads the PJL options from local (parallel, USB, serial, ...) or remote (only socket, LPD is not bi-directional) printers to standard output. The output can be piped into foomatic-addpjloptions to add options to the database. Options device where a local printer is connected, e.g. /dev/lp0, /dev/usb/lp0. Have your parallel port in EPP/bi-directional mode (see your BIOS settings). hostname Host name or IP of a network printer (HP JetDirect, Socket, ...) port Port on which your network printer listens.
