SYNOPSIS
       string newt_checkbox_get_value (resource  $checkbox)

DESCRIPTION
	This function returns the character in the sequence which indicates the current value of the checkbox.

PARAMETERS
	      o $checkbox

RETURN VALUES
	Returns character indicating the value of the checkbox.
