mysqli::get_charset - Returns a character set object

       Object oriented style

SYNOPSIS
object mysqli::get_charset (void )
DESCRIPTION
Procedural style object mysqli_get_charset (mysqli $link) Returns a character set object providing several properties of the current active character set.
PARAMETERS
o $ link -Procedural style only: A link identifier returned by mysqli_connect(3) or mysqli_init(3)
RETURN VALUES
The function returns a character set object with the following properties: o $charset -Character set name o $collation -Collation name o $dir -Directory the charset description was fetched from (?) or "" for built-in character sets o $min_length -Minimum character length in bytes o $max_length -Maximum character length in bytes o $number -Internal character set number o $state -Character set status (?)
EXAMPLES
