SYNOPSIS
       void fam_close (resource  $fam)

DESCRIPTION
	Closes a connection to the FAM service.

PARAMETERS

		- A resource representing a connection to the FAM service returned by fam_open(3)

RETURN VALUES
	No value is returned.
