NAME
simd - Daemon that supports the software phrase input method (SIM) service
SYNOPSIS
/usr/sbin/simd user-id group-id sim-db
DESCRIPTION
The simd daemon processes input key strokes when the software phrase input method of the atty terminal driver is activated. The utxd
pseudo device driver acts as an communication channel between the atty terminal driver and the simd daemon.
This software is available only when Tru64 UNIX optional subsets for Chinese or Korean are installed on the system.
