bcheckrc - Command script for checking and mounting local file systems
SYNOPSIS
/sbin/bcheckrc
DESCRIPTION
The bcheckrc script controls the checking and mounting of local file systems during system startup. An entry in the inittab file causes the system to execute the bcheckrc run commands, for example: fs:23:wait:/sbin/bcheckrc < /dev/console > /dev/console 2>&1 The bcheckrc script performs the following operations: Checks the local file systems listed in /etc/fstab for consistency Runs fsck with the -p option to preen all disks of minor inconsistencies resulting from the last system shutdown and to check for serious inconsistencies caused by hardware or software failure. Changes the root file system from read-only to read-write Mounts local file systems listed in /etc/fstab

Specifies the command path.
