sys_attrs_tu - tu subsystem attributes
DESCRIPTION
This reference page lists and describes attributes for the tu (tu) kernel subsystem. This subsystem is used by the 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet adapters. Refer to the sys_attrs(5) reference page for an introduction to the topic of kernel subsystem attributes. A value that enables (1) or disables (0) the store and forward operation on the DC21x4x Ethernet chip. When enabled, the DC21x4x chip will copy the entire packet to the chip prior to transmit. When disabled, the driver will attempt dynamic setting of the size of the chip's transmit FIFO. Set this parameter to 1 (enabled) if you do not want the driver to dynami- cally adjust the DC21x4x chip's transmit FIFO size. Default value: 0 (disabled) A value that enables (1) or disables (0) the 400 millisecond delay associated with operating with the 6694F part on the DE500-BA. This parameter only affects operation on DE500-BA equivalent equipment. Do not modify the default setting for this attribute unless instructed to do so by support personnel or patch kit documentation. Default value: 1 (enabled)
