The handle of the new node is copied into the location given by nodeh. The ptree_destroy_node() function destroys the node specified by nodeh and frees up any allocated space. The node to be destroyed must have been previously deleted by ptree_delete_node (see ptree_add_node(3PICLTREE)). Otherwise, PICL_CANTDESTROY is returned.RETURN VALUESUpon successful completion, 0 is returned. On failure, a non-negative integer is returned to indicate an error. PICL_STALEHANDLE is returned if the handle is no longer valid. This occurs if the PICL tree was refreshed or reinitialized. PICL_INVALIDHANDLE is returned if the specified handle never existed.ERRORSPICL_INVALIDARG Invalid argument PICL_VALUETOOBIG Value exceeds maximum size PICL_NOTSUPPORTED Property version not supported PICL_CANTDESTROY Attempting to destroy before delete PICL_TREEBUSY PICL tree is busy PICL_NOTNODE Not a node PICL_INVALIDHANDLE Invalid handle PICL_STALEHANDLE Stale handle PICL_FAILURE General system failureATTRIBUTESSee attributes(5) for descriptions of the following attributes: +-----------------------------+-----------------------------+ | ATTRIBUTE TYPE | ATTRIBUTE VALUE | +-----------------------------+-----------------------------+ |Interface Stability |Evolving | +-----------------------------+-----------------------------+ |MT-Level |MT-Safe | +-----------------------------+-----------------------------+SEE ALSOptree_add_node(3PICLTREE), attributes(5) SunOS 5.11 28 Mar 2000 ptree_create_node(3PICLTREE)
