picl_set_propval, picl_set_propval_by_name - set the value of a property to the specified value
SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
The picl_set_propval() function sets the value of the property specified by the handle proph to the value contained in the buffer valbuf. The argument nbytes specifies the size of the buffer valbuf. The picl_set_propval_by_name() function sets the value of the property named pname of the node specified by the handle nodeh to the value contained in the buffer valbuf. The argument nbytes specifies the size of the buffer valbuf.
RETURN VALUES
Upon successful completion, 0 is returned. On failure, a non-negative integer is returned to indicate an error. PICL_PERMDENIED is returned if the client does not have sufficient permission to access the property. PICL_STALEHANDLE is returned if the handle is no longer valid. This occurs if the PICL tree was refreshed or reinitialized. PICL_INVALIDHANDLE is returned if the specified handle never existed. This error may be returned for a previously valid handle if the dae- mon was brought down and restarted. When this occurs a client must revalidate any saved handles.
