NAME
asinh -- inverse hyperbolic sine function
SYNOPSIS
#include <math.h> double asinh(double x); long double asinhl(long double x); float asinhf(float x);
DESCRIPTION
The asinh() function computes the inverse hyperbolic sine of the real argument
SPECIAL VALUES
asinh(+-0) returns +-0. asinh(+-infinity) returns +-infinity.
VECTOR OPERATIONS
If you need to apply the asinh() function to SIMD vectors or arrays, using the following functions provided by the Accelerate.framework may give significantly better performance: #include <Accelerate/Accelerate.h> vFloat vasinhf(vFloat x); void vvasinhf(float *y, const float *x, const int *n); void vvasinh(double *y, const double *x, const int *n);
SEE ALSO

STANDARDS
The asinh() function conforms to ISO/IEC 9899:2011. 4.3 Berkeley Distribution December 11, 2006 4.3 Berkeley Distribution
