The syntax is as follows: uuid compare uuid uuid The compare operation compares two UUIDs, returning 1 if they are equal or 0 if they are not. Because the uuid compare command handles the comparison of UUIDs in current and previous DCE formats, you should use it rather than string compare. Privileges Required No special privileges are needed to use the uuid compare command.
