If the value is -1, the next available id is allocated. groupname specifies the group name. This function requires ADMIN privilege.RETURN VALUEThis routine returns 0 if the operation was successful or -1 if the operation failed. In the latter case, serrno is set appropriately.ERRORSEACCES The caller does not have ADMIN privilege. EFAULT groupname is a NULL pointer. EEXIST Group exists already. EINVAL The length of groupname exceeds 255. SENOSHOST Host unknown. SENOSSERV Service unknown. SECOMERR Communication error.
