NAME
gethostid - get an identifier for the current host
SYNOPSIS
DESCRIPTION
The function retrieves a 32-bit identifier for the current host.
RETURN VALUE
Upon successful completion, returns an identifier for the current host.
ERRORS
No errors are defined.
APPLICATION USAGE
X/Open does not define the domain in which the return value is unique.
WARNINGS
Obsolescent Interfaces is to be obsoleted at a future date.
