NAME
GENLIB_SAVE_PHFIG - save a layout on disk
SYNOPSYS
#include <genlib.h> void GENLIB_SAVE_PHFIG();
ORIGIN
This software belongs to the ALLIANCE CAD SYSTEM developed by the ASIM team at LIP6 laboratory of Universite Pierre et Marie CURIE, in Paris, France. Web : http://asim.lip6.fr/recherche/alliance/ E-mail : alliance-users@asim.lip6.fr
DESCRIPTION
SAVE_PHFIG saves the current working figure previously definded by a DEF_PHFIG call. SAVE_PHFIG uses environment variables to choose the file format and the path to the file. MBK_OUT_PH set up the output file format, the valid ones beeing : cp ap you could for example do : setenv MBK_OUT_PH ap MBK_WORK_LIB set up the output file path. Any valid unix path is ok. for example : setenv MBK_WORK_LIB ~fred/booth/genlib SAVE_PHFIG doesn't look on disk for the figure cellname, so be careful not to overwrite an existing file while saving.
ERROR
"GENLIB_SAVE_PHFIG impossible : missing GENLIB_DEF_PHFIG" No figure has been yet specified by a call to DEF_PHFIG. So it isn't possible to save anything. you must call DEF_PHFIG before any other layout action.
EXAMPLE
#include <genlib.h> main() { /* Create a figure to work on */ GENLIB_DEF_PHFIG("mycell"); /* Place an instance */ GENLIB_PLACE("mymodel","firstinstance", NOSYM,0L,0L); /* Save all that on disk */ GENLIB_SAVE_PHFIG(); }
