Name
       inch, mvinch, mvwinch, winch - return character from window

Syntax

       chtype inch()

       chtype winch(win)

       chtype mvinch(y, x)
       int y, x;

       chtype mvwinch(win, y, x)
       WINDOW *win;
       int y, x;

Description
       The  routine  returns  the  character  at the current cursor position in the default window.  If any attributes are set for that character,
       their values will be into the value returned.

       The routine returns the character at the specified position in the default window.  If any attributes are set for that position, their val-
       ues will be into the value returned.

       The  routine  returns the character at the current position in the named window.  If any attributes are set for that position, their values
       will be into the value returned.

       The following information applies to all the routines.

       The  predefined	constants  A_CHARTEXT  and  A_ATTRIBUTES,  defined  in	can be used with the (logical operator to extract the character or
       attributes alone.

       The and routines are macros.

Return Values
       Upon successful completion, the and functions return the character at the selected position.  Otherwise, the and functions return ERR.
