add_members - Add members to a list from the command line.
SYNOPSIS
add_members [-n <file>] [-d <file>] [-c <y|n>] [-w <y|n>] [-h] listname
DESCRIPTION
Add members from a file to a mailman list. Listname is the name of the Mailman list you are adding members to. It must already exist.
OPTIONS -n file, --non-digest-members-file file
A file containing addresses of the members to be added, one address per line. This list of people become non-digest members. If
file is `-', read addresses from stdin.
-d file, --digest-members-file file
Similar to above, but these people become digest members.
-c [y|n], --changes-msg [y|n]
Whether or not to send the list members the `there's going to be big changes to your list' message. defaults to no.
-w [y|n], --welcome-msg [y|n]
set whether or not to send the list members a welcome message, overriding whatever the list's `send_welcome_msg' setting is.
-h, --help
Print a help message and exit.
NOTES
You must supply at least one of -n and -d options. At most one of the files can be `-'.

the list's `admin_notify_mchanges' setting is.
-w [y|n], --welcome-msg=[y|n]
Set whether or not to send the list members a welcome message, overriding whatever the list's `send_welcome_msg' setting is.
-h, --help
Print a help message and exit.

I see you guys encouraged people studied and used C while they were working on UNIX. Does C++ or JAVA matter? And in the past threads, Neo, PxT, and other members recommanded lots good books. I think those people who asked for the references, such as Dominic, had experiences on sys admin or... (8 Replies)

The members list has left me a bit confused. If I click on Members List and go to the page does it show the complete members list? Asking this because my name does not show up there. But if I click on B and go to page 3, I can see my username and stuff...

I have this record as output of my script but i want it to filter more so as not to display those records/lines that has lesser than 10.

I have just newly installed mailman on ubuntu server. Using Apache2 web server and Exim4 mail server. Mailman is started and running fine. I can send email to and from an login account from the list server. However, when I send email to the cctest4@list.nmit.vic.edu.au , no email send to the... (2 Replies)
