gpilot-install-file - gnome-pilot file conduit scheduler
SYNOPSIS
gpilot-install-file [--now|--later] files...
DESCRIPTION
gpilot-install-file is a command line tool for scheduling files to be installed on a Palm PDA by the gnome-pilot file conduilt.
OPTIONS
In addition to a list of files to be installed gpilot-install-file takes the following options:
--now Schedule the file(s) for installation and wait for the user to synchronise immediately.
--later
Schedule the file(s) for installation and exit. The files will be installed at the next synchronization.

gpilotd is a daemon that monitors for pilot connects on one or more devices. Gnome-pilot has default conduits for backing up files and
installing files. It also includes an API for creating conduits
Other packages exist that provide additional conduits. For example, the Evolution mail/calendar/memo PIM application suite.

We have a lot of scripts using cut as :
cut -c 0-8 --works for cut (GNU coreutils) 5.97, but does not work for cut (GNU coreutils) 8.4.
Gives error -
cut: fields and positions are numbered from 1
