CPTTRF(l) ) CPTTRF(l)
NAME
CPTTRF - compute the L*D*L' factorization of a complex Hermitian positive definite tridiagonal matrix A
SYNOPSIS
SUBROUTINE CPTTRF( N, D, E, INFO )
INTEGER INFO, N
REAL D( * )
COMPLEX E( * )
PURPOSE
CPTTRF computes the L*D*L' factorization of a complex Hermitian positive definite tridiagonal matrix A. The factorization may also be
regarded as having the form A = U'*D*U.
ARGUMENTS
N (input) INTEGER
The order of the matrix A. N >= 0.
D (input/output) REAL array, dimension (N)
On entry, the n diagonal elements of the tridiagonal matrix A. On exit, the n diagonal elements of the diagonal matrix D from the
L*D*L' factorization of A.
E (input/output) COMPLEX array, dimension (N-1)
On entry, the (n-1) subdiagonal elements of the tridiagonal matrix A. On exit, the (n-1) subdiagonal elements of the unit bidiago-
nal factor L from the L*D*L' factorization of A. E can also be regarded as the superdiagonal of the unit bidiagonal factor U from
the U'*D*U factorization of A.
INFO (output) INTEGER
= 0: successful exit
< 0: if INFO = -k, the k-th argument had an illegal value
> 0: if INFO = k, the leading minor of order k is not positive definite; if k < N, the factorization could not be completed, while
if k = N, the factorization was completed, but D(N) = 0.

NAME
CPTCON - compute the reciprocal of the condition number (in the 1-norm) of a complex Hermitian positive definite tridiagonal matrix using
the factorization A = L*D*L**H or A = U**H*D*U computed by CPTTRF
SYNOPSIS
SUBROUTINE CPTCON( N, D, E, ANORM, RCOND, RWORK, INFO )
INTEGER INFO, N
REAL ANORM, RCOND
REAL D( * ), RWORK( * )
COMPLEX E( * )
PURPOSE
CPTCON computes the reciprocal of the condition number (in the 1-norm) of a complex Hermitian positive definite tridiagonal matrix using
the factorization A = L*D*L**H or A = U**H*D*U computed by CPTTRF. Norm(inv(A)) is computed by a direct method, and the reciprocal of the
condition number is computed as
RCOND = 1 / (ANORM * norm(inv(A))).
ARGUMENTS
N (input) INTEGER
The order of the matrix A. N >= 0.
D (input) REAL array, dimension (N)
The n diagonal elements of the diagonal matrix D from the factorization of A, as computed by CPTTRF.
E (input) COMPLEX array, dimension (N-1)
The (n-1) off-diagonal elements of the unit bidiagonal factor U or L from the factorization of A, as computed by CPTTRF.
ANORM (input) REAL
The 1-norm of the original matrix A.
RCOND (output) REAL
The reciprocal of the condition number of the matrix A, computed as RCOND = 1/(ANORM * AINVNM), where AINVNM is the 1-norm of
inv(A) computed in this routine.
RWORK (workspace) REAL array, dimension (N)
INFO (output) INTEGER
= 0: successful exit
< 0: if INFO = -i, the i-th argument had an illegal value
FURTHER DETAILS
The method used is described in Nicholas J. Higham, "Efficient Algorithms for Computing the Condition Number of a Tridiagonal Matrix", SIAM
J. Sci. Stat. Comput., Vol. 7, No. 1, January 1986.

Hi,
What is installation package and how to create it?
When we run:
in AIX:

or
in Linux
rpm -ivh mypackage
What is package1 or mypackage in the abov examples and how to create them and deploy them?
I hope my question is clear enough.

What is the point of this? Whenever I close my shell it appends to the history file without adding this. I have never seen it overwrite my history file.

After the success of the jq - tool for parsing and manipulating JSON-Data someone wrote a tool called yq, which aims to be the same for YAML, what jq is for JSON. Seems to work fine. I'll definitely give it a chance in future.
