void event_buffer_watermark_set (resource $bevent, int $events, int $lowmark, int $highmark)
DESCRIPTION
Sets the watermarks for read and write events. Libevent does not invoke read callback unless there is at least $lowmark bytes in the input
buffer; if the read buffer is beyond the $highmark, reading is stopped. On output, the write callback is invoked whenever the buffered data
falls below the $lowmark.
PARAMETERS
o $bevent
- Valid buffered event resource.
o $events
- Any combination of EV_READ and EV_WRITE.
o $lowmark
- Low watermark.
o $highmark
- High watermark.

This function registers a PHP user function as event handler for the specified events.
PARAMETERS
o $event_handler
- The callback is called with the event name and the link resource as arguments whenever one of the specified events is posted by
the database. The callback must return FALSE if the event handler should be canceled. Any other return value is ignored. This
function accepts up to 15 event arguments.
o $event_name1
- An event name.
o $event_name2
- At most 15 events allowed.
RETURN VALUES
The return value is an event resource. This resource can be used to free the event handler using ibase_free_event_handler(3).
