ppmtopuzz(1) General Commands Manual ppmtopuzz(1)NAME
ppmtopuzz - convert a portable pixmap into an X11 "puzzle" file
SYNOPSIS
ppmtopuzz [ppmfile]
DESCRIPTION
Reads a portable pixmap as input. Produces an X11 "puzzle" file as output. A "puzzle" file is for use with the puzzle program included
with the X11 distribution - puzzle's -picture flag lets you specify an image file.

TREE-PPUZZLE(1) General Commands Manual TREE-PPUZZLE(1)NAME
tree-ppuzzle - Reconstruction of phylogenetic trees by maximum likelihood (parallelized version)
SYNOPSIS
tree-ppuzzle
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the tree-ppuzzle command. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because
the original program does not have a manual page.
TREE-PPUZZLE is the new name for the program previously known as PPUZZLE!
tree-puzzle is an interactive console program that implements a fast tree search algorithm, quartet puzzling, that allows analysis of large
data sets and automatically assigns estimations of support to each internal branch. TREE-PPUZZLE also computes pairwise maximum likelihood
distances as well as branch lengths for user specified trees. Branch lengths can also be calculated under the clock-assumption. In addi-
tion, TREE-PPUZZLE offers a novel method, likelihood mapping, to investigate the support of a hypothesized internal branch without comput-
ing an overall tree and to visualize the phylogenetic content of a sequence alignment.
This program is the paralelized version of tree-puzzle.
OPTIONS
There are no options. For usage please look at /usr/share/doc/tree-puzzle/tree-puzzle.pdf.

For those interested in installing dash shell on OSX Lion to help test POSIX compliancy of shell scripts, it is quite easy. I did it like this:

Hi folks yet another bizarre piece of code that is Apple OSX 10.12.x to at least 10.14.1 specific.
It requires only a default OSX install, and the internal microphone along with an external headphone assembly.

What is the point of this? Whenever I close my shell it appends to the history file without adding this. I have never seen it overwrite my history file.

Greetings,
I'm trying to delete a file with a weird name from within Terminal on a Mac.
It's a very old file (1992) with null characters in the name: ââWord FinderÂŽ Plusâ˘.
Here are some examples of what I've tried:

Well guys and gals, I jumped in at the deep end and found things that PERL cannot do by default.

Well, guys I saw a question about GOTO for Python.
So this gave me the inspiration to attempt a GOTO function for 'dash', (bash and ksh too).
