rpc.rstatd, rstatd - Kernel statistics server
SYNOPSIS
/usr/lib/netsvc/rstat/rpc.rstatd
DESCRIPTION
The rpc.rstatd daemon is a server that returns performance statistics obtained from the kernel. The rup(1) command uses the rpc.rstatd to
collect the uptime information that it displays.
The rpc.rstatd daemon is an RPC service. The rstatd daemon is normally invoked by inetd(8) by removing the comment character (#) at the
beginning of the rstatd entry in the /etc/inetd.conf file.

The rpc.rstatd service is managed by the service management facility, smf(5), under the service identifier:
svc:/network/rpc/rstat:default
Administrative actions on this service, such as enabling, disabling, or requesting restart, can be performed using svcadm(1M). Responsibil-
ity for initiating and restarting this service is delegated to inetd(1M). Use inetadm(1M) to make configuration changes and to view config-
uration information for this service. The service's status can be queried using the svcs(1) command.

I'm working with Mercury tools: Loadrunner, and I'm trying to monitor a unix server by rstatd, and I got next error:
Mar 4 11:25:56 sacindt rpc.rstatd: incompatible to /proc. Could not read disk_io: data
does any one have an idea about this..

How to start rstatd Daemon on AIX 6.1
as I enable it from etc/inetd.conf
then I refreshed it by this command refresh -s inetd but stil is not Active !
