NAME

       sys_attrs_dli - dli subsystem attributes

DESCRIPTION

       This  reference page lists and describes attributes for the Data Link Interface (dli) kernel subsystem. Refer to the sys_attrs(5) reference
       page for an introduction to the topic of kernel subsystem attributes.

	      A value that enables (1) or disables (0) the requirement that the user of the raw  socket  interface  must  be  root.  Setting  this
	      attribute to 0 allows any user to use the raw socket interface to DLI.

	      DECnet and STREAMS protocol stacks use a DLI-provided raw interface to the data link.  DLI also provides a raw socket interface.

	      Default value: 1 (enabled)

	      In a TruCluster environment, the value of this attribute must be the same for all member systems.

	      The number of received packets that are queued to DLI.

	      Default value: 512 (packets)

	      Minimum value: 0

	      Maximum value: 1024

	      If many packets are dropped, you may want to increase the value.

NAME

       sys_attrs_ipv6 - ipv6 subsystem attributes

DESCRIPTION

       This  reference page lists and describes attributes for the Internet Protocol Version 6 (ipv6) kernel subsystem.  Refer to the sys_attrs(5)
       reference page for an introduction to the topic of kernel subsystem attributes.

	      A value that enables (1) or disables (0) rate-limiting of ICMPv6 errors (see RFC 2463).

	      Default value: 1 (enabled)

	      The maximum time, in milliseconds, to wait before sending ICMPv6 error packets to a particular destination IPv6 address.

	      Default value: 1000 (milliseconds)

	      Minimum value: 1

	      Maximum value: LONG_MAX, or 9 quintillion

	      The minimum time, in milliseconds, to wait before sending ICMPv6 error packets to a particular destination IPv6 address.

	      Default value: 100 (milliseconds)

	      Minimum value: 1

	      Maximum value: LONG_MAX, or 9 quintillion

	      The number of packets to send before starting the ICMPv6 error packet rate-limiting timers.

	      Default value: 10 (packets)

	      Minimum value: 0

	      Maximum value: INT_MAX, or 2 billion

	      A value that enables (1) or disables (0) a system's ability to forward IPv6 packets that are not	addressed  to  the  system.   This
	      functionality is usually enabled by using the /usr/sbin/ip6_setup command.

	      Default value: 0 (disabled)

	      For  systems  functioning  as routers, both ipv6forwarding and ipv6router attributes must be 1.  For IPv6 hosts that want to forward
	      source routed packets, the ipv6forwarding attribute must be 1.

	      A value that enables (1) or disables (0) a system's ability to forward IPV6 packets that are not	addressed  to  the  system.   This
	      functionality  is  usually  enabled by using the /usr/sbin/ip6_setup command.  When enabled, Neighbor Advertisements from the system
	      have the IsRouter flag set (see RFC 2461).

	      Default value: 0 (disabled)

	      For systems functioning as routers, both ipv6forwarding and ipv6router attributes must be 1.
