NAME
       libsocket - sockets library

SYNOPSIS
       cc [ flag... ] file... -lsocket [ library... ]

DESCRIPTION
       Functions in this library provide the socket internetworking interface, primarily used with the TCP/IP protocol suite.

INTERFACES
       The  shared  object  libsocket.so.1  provides the public interfaces defined below. See Intro(3) for additional information on shared object
       interfaces.
