     Standard C Library (libc, -lc)

SYNOPSIS
     #include <ctype.h>

     int
     isascii(int c);

DESCRIPTION
     The isascii() function tests for an ASCII character, which is any character with a value in
     the range from 0 to 127, inclusive.

     The isascii() is defined on all integer values.

STANDARDS
     The isascii() function conforms to X/Open Portability Guide Issue 4 (``XPG4'') and IEEE Std
     1003.1-2001 (``POSIX.1''). The IEEE Std 1003.1-2008 (``POSIX.1'') revision however marked
     it as obsolete, noting that isascii() cannot be used portably in a localized application.
