     archive_write_new -- functions for creating archives

LIBRARY

SYNOPSIS
     #include <archive.h>

     struct archive *
     archive_write_new(void);

DESCRIPTION
     Allocates and initializes a struct archive object suitable for writing a tar archive.  NULL is returned on error.
