NAME
       tuneserver - optimize the kernel tunable values

SYNOPSIS
DESCRIPTION
       The tool tunes the kernel tunables to improve server performance.

       There  are certain kernel tunables identified, which when updated with the appropriate values, improves the performance of servers signifi-
       cantly.

       For complete details about these tunables and their values, refer to the whitepaper at

   Options
       Provide usage information of the tool.

       List all tunables and their optimal values.

       Optimizes the value of kernel tunables so that performance will be
	    improved.

       Sets the value of kernel tunables back to the value
	    prior to the optimization that was done with the option.  This option is provided so that tunables can be set to their  original  val-
	    ues, if required.

       For  both  and  options, the server need to be restarted for the tunable changes to be applied to the system.  This tool gives a message if
       restart is required.

RETURN VALUE
       The tool returns zero upon successful completion, or nonzero if it fails.
