NAME
untic - terminfo de-compiler
SYNOPSIS
[term] file]
DESCRIPTION
translates a terminfo file from the compiled format into the source format. If the environment variable is set to a path name, checks for a compiled terminfo description of the terminal under the path specified by before checking Otherwise, only is checked. Normally uses the terminal type obtained from the environment variable. With the term (terminal type) argument, however, the user can specify the terminal type used. With the file argument the user can specify the file used for translation. This option bypasses the use of the and environment variables. sends the de-compiled terminfo description result to standard output.
