XtDisplayStringConversionWarning() XtDisplayStringConversionWarning() Name XtDisplayStringConversionWarning - issue a warning message during conversion of string resource values. Synopsis void XtDisplayStringConversionWarning(display, from_value, to_type) Display *display; String from_value, to_type; Inputs display Specifies the display connection with which the conversion is associated. from_value Specifies the string that could not be converted. to_type Specifies the target representation type requested. Availability Release 4 and later. Description XtDisplayStringConversionWarning() issues a warning message using XtAppWarningMsg() with name set to conversionError, type set to string, class set to XtToolkitError and the default message string set to: Cannot convert from_value to type to_type Usage This function is intended for use within "new-style" string resource converters. To issue other types of warning or error messages, the type converter should use XtAppWarningMsg() or XtAppErrorMsg() directly. XtDisplayStringConversionWarning() supersedes XtStringConversionWarning() which does not take a Display * argument and can therefore be used in "old-style" converters.
