Apache config issue

I want to build a little website on a Sun Blade 100 running Solaris 10.

I just went out to apache.org and downloaded Unix Source: httpd-2.2.8.tar.gz

After unpacking the tarball, I CD'd into the subdirectory and ran the configure utility. Of course, it crapped out. I see that it is complaining about this:

configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH"

But I don't know what to do about that. Here is the output of what I have done so far, any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated:

root> pwd

You need to install the gcc or Sun compiler. If you have either of those installed, make sure the compiler is in your $PATH environment variable.

What are the names of the packages and where do I look for them? When I installed Solaris 10, I did the entire distribution plus OEM.

ok...I feel silly now...I just found it:

root> pkginfo|grep gcc
system SUNWgcc gcc - The GNU C compiler
system SUNWgccruntime GCC Runtime libraries
root>

I am unsure though how to install it. do I use pkgadd?

From sunfreeware:
Freeware List for SPARC and Solaris 10

Make sure to download libiconv as well.

Oh, I didnt realize Solaris shipped with gcc. The compiler is in /usr/sfw/bin.

So do I just put /usr/sfw/bin in my $PATH?
