DWARF_PRODUCER_SET_ISA(3) BSD Library Functions Manual DWARF_PRODUCER_SET_ISA(3)NAME
dwarf_producer_set_isa -- specify the instruction set architecture for a DWARF producer instance
LIBRARY
DWARF Access Library (libdwarf, -ldwarf)
SYNOPSIS
#include <libdwarf.h>
int
dwarf_producer_set_isa(Dwarf_P_Debug dbg, enum Dwarf_ISA isa, Dwarf_Error *err);
DESCRIPTION
The function dwarf_producer_set_isa() sets the instruction set architecture for a DWARF producer instance.
Argument dbg should reference a DWARF producer instance allocated using one of the functions dwarf_producer_init(3) or
dwarf_producer_init_b(3).
Argument isa specifies the desired instruction set architecture. Legal values for this argument are those defined by the enum Dwarf_ISA enu-
meration defined in the header file <libdwarf.h>.
If the argument err is not NULL, it will be used to store error information in case of an error.
COMPATIBILITY
The dwarf_producer_set_isa() function is a local extension.
RETURN VALUES
On success, the function dwarf_producer_set_isa() returns DW_DLV_OK. In case of an error, this function returns DW_DLV_ERROR and sets the
argument err.
ERRORS
The dwarf_producer_set_isa() function can fail with:
[DW_DLE_ARGUMENT] The argument dbg was NULL.
[DW_DLE_ARGUMENT] The argument isa was invalid.

DWARF_LNE_END_SEQUENCE(3) BSD Library Functions Manual DWARF_LNE_END_SEQUENCE(3)NAME
dwarf_lne_end_sequence -- set the end of instruction sequence
LIBRARY
DWARF Access Library (libdwarf, -ldwarf)
SYNOPSIS
#include <libdwarf.h>
Dwarf_Unsigned
dwarf_lne_end_sequence(Dwarf_P_Debug dbg, Dwarf_Addr addr, Dwarf_Error *err);
DESCRIPTION
Function dwarf_lne_end_sequence() sets the address that indicates the end of a sequence of target machine instructions.
Argument dbg should reference a DWARF producer instance allocated using dwarf_producer_init(3) or dwarf_producer_init_b(3).
Argument addr specifies an address value which is the first byte after the end of a instruction sequence.
If argument err is not NULL, it will be used to store error information in case of an error.
RETURN VALUES
On success, function dwarf_lne_end_sequence() returns DW_DLV_OK. In case of an error, function dwarf_lne_end_sequence() returns
DW_DLV_NOCOUNT and sets the argument err.
ERRORS
Function dwarf_lne_end_sequence() can fail with:
[DW_DLE_ARGUMENT] Argument dbg was NULL.
[DW_DLE_ARGUMENT] The value in argument addr overlapped an existing line information entry.
[DW_DLE_MEMORY] An out of memory condition was encountered during the execution of the function.

Originally, we only had one shell on unix. When ran a command, the shell would attempt to invoke one of the exec() system calls on it. It the command was an executable, the exec would succeed and the command would run. If the exec() failed, the shell would not give up, instead it... (3 Replies)

Suppose I have a main() function with only one malloc statement allocating say some 1 gb memory. Also say my system has 1 gb of ram.

In this case will the 1 gb of heap memory be returned... (9 Replies)
I see lot of ad-hoc shell scripts in our servers which don't have a shebang at the beginning .
Does this mean that it will run on any shell ?
Is it a good practice to create scripts (even ad-hoc ones) without shebang ? (16 Replies)
