bestfortress - Driver for old Best Fortress UPS equipment
NOTE
This man page only documents the hardware-specific features of the bestfortress driver. For information about the core driver, see
nutupsdrv(8).
SUPPORTED HARDWARE
This driver supports old Best Fortress UPS equipment using a serial connection.
EXTRA ARGUMENTS
This driver supports the following optional settings in the ups.conf(5):
baudrate=num
Set the speed of the serial connection - 1200, 2400, 4800 or 9600.
max_load=VA
Set the full-scale value of the ups.load variable.

tripplitesu - Driver for Tripp-Lite SmartOnline (SU) UPS equipment

SUPPORTED HARDWARE
This driver supports the Tripp Lite SmartOnline family (via the serial port).
EXTRA ARGUMENTS
This driver supports the following optional settings in the ups.conf(5):
lowbatt=num
Set the low battery warning threshold in percent at which shutdown is initiated by upsmon(8). By default, the UPS may not report low
battery until there are only a few seconds left. Common values are around 25--30.

I'm trying to make a transition from linux to unix, but one of the major hang ups is my networked internet connection.
(1) Cable Internet (Adelphia)
(2) Modem -> Cat5
(3) Cat5 -> D-Link Router
(4) D-Link Router -> Cat5

We had a HP Power Trust UPS connected to our HP Server using HP Unix 11. The UPS has died, and been taken off the server. The / filesystem runs out off space (100% full) as a core file is made in /etc/opt/resmon. The core file mentions monitoring of the UPS. Removing this file, another one... (3 Replies)
