NAME
       mixer - Open Sound System mixer (control panel) device

DESCRIPTION
       Mixer  devices are used by control panel and mixer programs (such as ossxmix(1)) to change volumes and other settings of the sound cards in
       the system.

       See the OSS Mixer Programming section of the OSS Programmer's Guide (MIXER(2)) for more info.

OPTIONS
       None

FILES
       /dev/mixer is the default mixer device file in the system.
