NAME
lfc_getgrpbygid - get group name associated with a given virtual gid
SYNOPSIS
#include <sys/types.h> #include "lfc_api.h" int lfc_getgrpbygid (gid_t gid, char *groupname)
DESCRIPTION
lfc_getgrpbygid gets the group name associated with a given virtual gid. gid specifies the Virtual Group Id. groupname points at a buffer to receive the associated group name. The buffer must be at least 256 characters long.
RETURN VALUE
This routine returns 0 if the operation was successful or -1 if the operation failed. In the latter case, serrno is set appropriately.
ERRORS
EFAULT groupname is a NULL pointer. EINVAL This gid does not exist in the internal mapping table. SENOSHOST Host unknown. SENOSSERV Service unknown. SECOMERR Communication error. ENSNACT Name server is not running or is being shutdown.
