spectool_net -- Network server for the spectool_gtk program
SYNOPSIS
spectool_net [-b secs] [-p port] [-a bind address]
DESCRIPTION
spectool_net is network server to which spectool_gtk can connect.
OPTIONS
This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included
below.
-h--help
Show summary of options.
-b secs --broadcast secs
Send broadcast announce.
-p port --port port
Use alternate port.
-a address --bindaddr address
Bind to specific address.

plugctl - a program to get or set any MPR or PCR register value
SYNOPSIS
plugctl [-p port] [-n node] plug.attribute[=value]
DESCRIPTION
plugctl is a program to get or set the value of a plug's attribute.
plug is one of oMPR, iMPR, oPCR[n], or iPCR[n] (case insensitive). Please supply a numerical index for [n].
This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

Hi,
I register the ip address into "XMD broadcast" in xconfig of xmanager, then use Xmanager to connect to AIX server, But I can not connect to it.
How to set AIX server to let it can be connected?

Hi all,
I am using Perl program to do socket communication. My application has to use port 40001 this is a condition I can't change the port.
The execution of this script always gave an error 'Bind failure port already in use'
netstat execution gives below line:
