Hi Peter,

you might want to try:

ftp ftp://[userSmilieassword]@host[Smilieort]/directory/ ! put W*

HTH,
Lexx

P.S.: Is "EUF" the commonly used version of "EOF" in Hessen? Smilie

Hi Lexx

I don't have this remote system as a host setup. I just have setup as ip address..In the /etc/hosts

Peter,

"host" means either FQDN or IP, so you can use either Smilie

Peter,

what is the exact line you use? Mask the user, pass and host stuff if you desire Smilie

And what is the exact error you get?

EDIT: Damn, I'm tired! Of course "put W*" won't work. I guess using a shell script using 'for' should do the deal, i.e.:
for i in W*; do <ftp-command>; done
Where in <ftp-command> you use $i as the file of course

Greetings,
Lexx
