Put ..
Code:
# uname -a

if centOs can use connect your box to internet and
Code:

-sh-3.2# yum list openoffice.org-writer*
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
Available Packages
openoffice.org-writer.i386 1:3.1.1-19.5.el5_5.6 abcd
-sh-3.2# yum install openoffice.org-writer*
-sh-3.2#

Else download and install as local but... remember this package have many dependencies ... so try to mount your DVD ..
