Question changing windows ME to redhat....

I'm playing around with linux on a computer I had preinstalled on....

I like it enough that I want to change one of my current computers (Windows ME). Is it as easy as reformatting the hard drive and then just loading in the first of the RedHat installation CDs?

If I decide to dual boot the machine...is it as easy as creating a partition in the already running windows environment and then just loading in the first installation disc?

Thanks in advance,

a new believer!
