Internet Sharing with SUSE 7.3

I have a home network connected to a cable modem. I would like to use my SUSE 7.3 as a proxy. My layout is this.

all computers connected to a hub.
SUSE has 2 nics. 1 for cable modem(eth0, one for internal network connected to hub(eth1)
All other machines connect to hub
eth0 - DHCP from ISP
eth1 - 192.168.0.1
all other machine are 192.168.0.x

I have been looking at several tutorials that are fairly old and seem to work with older Kernals but I can't get them to work. I have been trying to use ipchain commands and I keep getting a protocal not available error.

If anyone knows how to do what I want to do using SUSE 7.3, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.

I can ping my SUSE box on the internal IP from all my other machines no problem. I just can't get to the outside world.

Thanks

Are you completely sure you have ipchains installed and running? If SuSE is using a 2.4 kernel chances are it's using iptables.

Run lsmod too see if the ipchains module is loaded. Or use iptables instead (see www.Netfilter.org)
