Question Sco Unix 4.3 Windows Connectivity

I have a client who is operating a SCO UNIX 4.3 server with Informix 4.12. My problem is that I need to get hold of the data using a Windows PC.

Where the hell do I start? Smilie

If you are trying to get data from the Informix database, then you should try the following link - it may have the answers you are looking for and also ask your Informix DBA.

I assume you are trying to "get ahold" or your Informix data to write custom reports using some software application such as Seagates Crystal Reports ? If that be the case.. You will need an ODBC connection to your Informix Database. You will also need the client for your Windows PC. IBM has purchased Informix however, you can still go to to get self help. If this is not what you are doing and need additional help, then provide some additional information.

if you want data file then use filezilla application by TCP/IP network,
it works for file transfer only.
