Change source ip on static internet

Hi,

Environment:
Linux: Ubuntu 12.04

I am connected to internet using static ip. This means my internet provider Pacenet has assigned me static ip. Now, whenever I am trying to change source ip for tcp/ip (ip4) using iptables firewall, I am unable to access internet at all.

Can anybody help me in this?
Question: Is this possible to change source IP, when I am accessing internet through static ip?
Question: if yes for question. Can you please let me know the process?

What do you mean, 'change source IP'? Your own IP? Or someone else's? What are you trying to do here?

And do not tell me your goal is to "change source ip", WHY do you want to change the source IP? There may be alternate solutions.

You didn't answer any of Corona688's queries.

What do you mean by source IP? Your router-assigned LAN IP? Your ISP-assigned WAN IP? Some other IP? And why do you want to change it? Why do you need to change it? What do you want to change it to?
