Install application on UNIX cluster
Hi everyone,

I have a new engagement where in I would need to install an inhouse server application in a HP_UNIX cluster.

Please let me know how this should be done.

I suppose you are talking of MC/ServiceGuard?

Thanks for the reply. I have just gone through the links which you gave me.
I am very new to HP-UX environment. Frankly speaking could not follow anything.

Let me give you some more details-
I am trying to install a job scheduling master server in a HP-UX clustered environment with Oracle 10g as DB. I have steps to install the agent for the master in the clustered environment, but I need exactly how to install an job scheduling master server in this environment. I have no clue about this.

Please help as this is urgent need.

Im afraid it will be difficult to help you here, since its difficult to understand what you are up to and not knowing your environment:
1) Is this a MC/serviceguard cluster?
If so, what is the job scheduling master server?
( ? I remember of package running on a node...)
2) If not what do you call HPUX clustered environment (could it be GRID?)
In which case (grid) I will be of no help but with your extra information
maybe someone reading now could...

Hi

Let me clarify more.

It is a HP servicegaurd which I am talking about. I would need to install TIDAL master software, which is a job scheduling software in the service gaurd cluster.

Please reply with inputs in installing this TIDAL job scheduling software in the cluster.
