How to start or stop ypbind on HP-UX machine.
Searched a little but could not find.

I found it

/sbin/init.d/nis.client stop
/sbin/init.d/nis.client start

Also check that configuration variable NIS_CLIENT=1 in /etc/rc.config.d/namesvrs.
