mmap failed

We recently have been seeing the following type of error on our development server. Being somewhat new to HP-UX I was hoping to get some insight. Here is what I have found.

I have been doing some research.

/usr/lib/dld.sl: Call to mmap() failed - TEXT /u07/mdev/lib/libCLEND.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Not enough space
Errors like this most often are related to inadequate swap space.. but now I am seeing that this type of error with TEXT can be related to inqadequate Shared memory.

If I run ipcs -ma and add up the SEG SZ, I get 26 gb. (I think).

kmtune reports:
maxdsiz 0x40000000
maxdsiz_64 0x80000000

maxtsiz 100663296
maxtsiz_64 0x40000000

Basicaly speaking.. if we continue to these mmap errors, we may need to review Shared Memory?

Thoughts?

SegSz from ipcs -ma

Are the failing mmap calls with/without MAP_FIXED?
# 3

Okay, I feel kind of dumb. I am new to HP-UX and troubleshooting this type of error. How do I figure out if my failing mmap calls are with/without MAP_FIXED? I tried googling this answer but did not find an answer to that question. Thanks in advance.
