Peasant: you don`t understand my problem. Problem is that on hpux on my zx6000 workstation i don` have autorepeat when any of keyboard keys is presed longer.

In CDE is just the same. But it is ok when i login remote by putty. I think that will be some terminal option/variable/setting that is wrong.

I have zx6000 in typical workstation i`s in that future-look tower box, with low noise fans to office use. It was used as some CAD/CAM/CAE box before in one of airplane company. It has best graphic card aviable in this model - ATI Fire GL X1-256p.

I try to check what you send to me. I`ll write about what i`ve done.

From what i found online ..

Can you ran while in CDE xset -r and see if it makes any difference.

Also, check out
hilkbd - HP-UX

Hope that helps.

Regards
Peasant.

xset -r doesn`t help

When i use any terminal normal or in safe mode i don`t have autorepeat. Autorepeat works well when i`m in EFI but in OS it disappear.

Problem is that i don`t have any HP keyboard that i could use. I try to find some other usb keyboard that will work with HPUX.

About hilkbd there is :

-----------
KBD_REPEAT_RATE
Set the keyboard auto-repeat rate. The one-byte value to which arg points is the negative of the repeat period, in tens of milliseconds. The repeat rate is the reciprocal of the repeat period. A parameter of zero disables auto-repeat.

KBD_REPEAT_DELAY
Set the keyboard auto-repeat delay. The one-byte value to which arg points is the negative of the repeat delay, in tens of milliseconds.

----------

but i don`t know yet how to check current status of those. I`ll be digging into it.

I spoke to fast that it works fine - autorepeat works fine. One thing that is not working using HP keyboard is "|" pipe key. I look for another good keyboard for ZX6000 Workstation. When i find one i`ll reply.
