IPC settings on HP-UX

Hi Experts,

Need your help for checking te interprocess communications settings on HP-UX box.

Using ipcs command I am able to view Message queue, semapohores etc, but from that output I m not able to understand how to determine if there is any issue with ipc settings and how to resolve that?

Please also post what Operating System and version you are running. ("HP-UX box" is just too vague).
Start by posting what you typed and the corresponding output. Also mention anything relevant ... like the software which relies on semaphores ... and your current kernel settings for semaphores.
Do you have glance ? This is the best tool for checking semaphore usage against kernel limits. The ipcs command is useful for listing all current usage.
