To identify if local disks are mirrored
Hello All,

Am trynig to identify if the local HD's on our BL860 (running 11v3) are indeed mirrored to each other.

use the vgdisplay command. see man page for details.

Or you can drill down for this information using SAM

Hardware raid or Software raid is in question here?

SW raid, use vgdisplay, lvdisplay and so on as already given.

BL860C also comes with a SAS raid controller, there should also be a possibility for HW raid on your server. If you need to check if its HW mirrored,

#man sasmgr

I have AIX 5.1 I ran these commands and was not able to see what disk were mirrored to what.
