Hello all.
I have a requirement to install a aftermarket video card in the server, can you advise what fits? or if there is a sun riser part which convers the PCIx slot to PCIe
The unit is a standard x4100 with PCIx slots, not an M2 with the PCIe slots.

i have been asked to see if its possible, a colleague has option to use the unit for a trial and from my understanding is the units PCIx. which slims down the options, i would like to find out what cards fit the slot otherwise i may look to recommend he gets hold of the m2 variant which will give hime PCIe options to which alot of the better cards are available

understood... but WHY do you need a video card? isn't there a GRASP board inside the server?

there is, but from what i can understand about the grasp unit its power and throughput is limited hence looking at the aftermarket solutions
