Data NetRaid Changed from online to FAILED

Hi dear experts,

My SCO Unix server displayed the above message and since then have been beeping. When the system was restarted, the message 'HP NetRAID [Warning]:Adapter:0 LDrv 1 state at startup DEGRADED'.

I have switch controls to another server. Can some one help me with what could be the problem and how i can get if fixed.

a drive in an external raid, connected to your server, should have failed...
