RoHS and non-RoHS

hi
does an RoHS V890 server accept components (I/O board , motherboard, CPU/MEMORY modules) from non-RoHS V890 severs ??? because they have different part numbers

my guess would be yes. I don't see why using non-toxic materials and similar.. would impact functionality so much.

NO this will not work
you can only add RoHS components in a non-RoHS but not vice versa!!!!!!

@beta17 how come? what does RoHS change in, say, memory?

Solaris Hardware and ROHS

I'm trying to determine the End of Service Life for some of our Solaris servers, and I'm not sure if our servers are ROHS compliant. Is there a command to determine if the server is ROHS? If not, is there somewhere on the chasis where I can find this information? (2 Replies)
